The cottage is perfectly placed as it has excellent access to a number of tourist attractions. It is within a 10-minute drive of Perth city centre where there are plenty of places to dine out. For the sports lovers, some of Scotland’s most famous golf courses are within a 45-minute drive – St Andrews, Gleneagles and Carnoustie. Also, for those who want to take in the sights of Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh is within a 60-minute drive.

A great place to stay, I would recommend it to anyone looking to get away to the countryside for the weekend. It’s really well equipped allowing you to cook in if you fancy or go out.
It’s in a great location with lots of walks to do nearby.
Debbie is a great host who lives nearby and was very helpful during our stay.
The hot tub is an excellent addition and I would recommend it even when it’s -1°C outside!

Riverview Retreat is a gem of a place, cosy and comfortable, spacious and light, thoughtfully presented and beautifully clean. Debbie’s attention to detail and her great care for the place are evident at every turn and she is wonderfully helpful and welcoming. Riverview is a great base for exploring Perthshire and beyond. It is also a great place to spend time chilling with friends or just to sit and relax and watch the ever-changing light and colour of Kinnoull Hill across the river. And the hot tub is a delight too! We hope we will manage to return one day.
